Navy Pier’s fourth annual LatiNxt festival is set to return to Chicago’s iconic lakefront destination with a fun and festive celebration of Latin arts, culture and music on Friday, August 6 and Saturday, August 7. The free, two-day festival showcases world-renowned talent, including local, national and international artists known for exploring new ways of connecting traditional Latin music with modern sounds.
The festival will also feature the Mercadito Vendor Fair, produced by the Pilsen Community Market, showcasing a series of small pop-up shops owned by Latinx artisans and a record fair with unique and classic vinyl records for browsing and purchasing. In addition, guests will be treated to a special fireworks show on Saturday at 10:15 PM, synchronized to a Latin music soundtrack.
This year’s festival line-up includes Latin Grammy-nominated hip-hop group, Los Rakas, Angelica Garcia, Making Movies, Sotomayor and others.
